Create The Life You Want.
Are you living the life that you want? Are you accomplishing everything that you planned? When you wake up are you welcoming the day or dreading
to get up?
The answer to these questions will determine if your on the right path to creating the life you desire.
Many people including myself have answered these questions with “NO”! I have always had a plan and most of the time accomplished what I had set out to do. Sometimes, well most of the times it was difficult but I did it. But was I happy or just taking the next step without thoughts of what would make me happy? I did the next thing and climbed up the ladder, but as I said, it was the next thing.
What about now?
I’m now on my path to following my dreams. Doing what gives me joy. Are You?
One question I asked myself and about to ask you. This question is very important and can tell you if your on the right path. If you were rich and had everything you ever wanted, what would you do to fulfill your life? What could you do for the rest of your life without worrying about retirement? Think about that!
Let me tell you, if your not living the life that you dreamed of, your not alone. Your amongst a majority of the people in the world. Many will go to their death bed regretting what they did not have the courage to do or just gave up on their dreams to sacrificed for others. Will this be you?
Lets be clear.
I’m not telling anyone to leave their job tomorrow, but do sit back, think and create a plan. I love creating (well let’s say deliberate creating). Lets start off by going back to my previous blog. Do you know who you are? After reading my last blog, I’m hoping that now you have some kind of idea of your true birth right. I like to think of each and everyone of us as miniature Gods making up the Ultimate Supreme Being.
This would mean we are part of God and God is part of us.
Knowing this we have the ability to create and do wonderful things as Jesus did if only our brains and faith were like his. This is where we hit that brick wall. We don’t truly know our abilities. This is not completely our fault but is part of evolution. We will get there but I doubt in this life time. However, I can say many are awakening up this century. With writers like Ernest Holmes, Joseph Murphy, Florence Shovel Shinn, Catherine Ponder, Stuart Wilde, Rev. Ike and others we are on our way. We now have New Age Churches like Religious Science and Unity to broaden our knowledge. I am very proud to see actors speak the truth on how they accomplished their dreams using the Law of Attraction like Oprah, Will Smith, Jim Carey, Steve Harvey and a whole lot of others.
Back to the lesion.
Your probably wondering how you can move along your path!
Let me give you some steps to Create The Life You Want:
- Know what you truly want
- Believe that you can truly have it as your birth right
- Have faith
- Impregnate it into your subconscious ( We will talk about this)!
- Take action!
- Release the outcome to the Divine (who just want to give us what we want).
When I say impregnate it into your subconscious:
This just mean that you have to eliminate any opposing thoughts that may block you from obtaining your desires and replace them with absolute confidence that you can achieve your goal. Example: “I want to be an actor”. Deep down there is a fear of not being good enough. That strong emotion will over ride that verbal wish or thought and block it from manifesting. Remember it is drawn to you what you think about or give great feeling towards.
Writing Affirmations:
Because of this I believe in writing down my desires and repeating them at least 3 x daily, or making positive present tense affirmations. Like: “Thank you God for blessing me with my new acting job that I truly love which brings abundance in all forms to me and all involved”.
I like to do these before falling to sleep, upon waking and some time during the day when I’m alone and at peace. My favorite is visualization. We will speak about this in one of the up coming blogs so continue to follow.
Next is take action.
That best Time seller will not just drop in your lap because you wrote it down. That perfect job will not come knocking at your door. You must act! When that feeling to apply for that job occur, Do It. Start writing that book even if its 30 minutes a day. Next year it will be done.
Once you know it’s your right to have what you desire the Universe will place you at the right place and perfect time. You will met people with common goals. That job will become available 10 minutes from your home. That job you lost will lead you to a better one with a higher pay. Why not! You deserve it!
Last release it.
I mean release it to the Universe. Don’t worry about how it will manifest . Fear = Doubt and you may have blocked your dreams from coming true. Just know that your order is in and being prepared. How and when is up to our Creator who knows best.
A short story:
I once lost a house I was purchasing. The seller wanted out of the deal because they were offered a higher price. After months of no date for the closing I asked for my money back and sued them for the return of all the money I put into the deal like the inspection and mortgage application. After we met with arbitration I lost the case and was told I should not have asked for the return of my money; even-though months passed by and I had proof that the house was back up for sale with a different realtor.
Twist in the story ending:
I felt so degraded by the arbitrator who just seen me as a young African American female and who felt the need to speak to me like crap as if I was wasting her time. My many degrees didn’t matter at that time. I cried not because of the deal but because how degraded I felt after the arbitration. To my surprise I later closed on my 1st choice home which was sold, but the deal fell through. I was so happy in this home for 12 yrs and was glad I did not purchase that other home. I was given something better. You see I wanted that home and even-though I went through a lot. I was brought right back to my first choice which lead to my mother eventually buying the home down the block from mine.
God knows best and even though we may become impatient there maybe a reason for all that occurs.
Now Moving Forward!
